To the future me,
1. Get some serious work done!
Please remember you have travelled for quite a bit in 2013, and seen many beautiful places, don't be unhappy when it's time for you to stay indoors and get some serious work done. You have witnessed the beauty of aurora in Iceland, and experienced the adrenaline-rush canyoning in Slovenia. So, no complains when you need to stay indoors!
2. Spend more time with friends and family
Graduated overseas means things will be different when you finally go home..You have not spent enough time with family over the past 4 years, please remember that mom and dad are no longer 28, what more grandma! This also means that there are some high school friendships that need some warm ups before we are comfortable with each other again :) Ask them out and have conversations over coffee/tea!
3. Follow your dreams! Don't stop believing in what you believe
Back in Melaka. Although you have grown up in this town you were once very familiar with, you are now a total freshie. You will feel timid sometimes in continuing your dreams that you believed in during the uni-years. To give you some courage, you were invited to perform in the London Chinese crowd that you were not familiar with, you have done your own personal gig in London with supports from lovely friends! Thank you for those supports that you are able to move forward in believing what you believe. Don't stop doing that! Walk down your dream journey and meet new people as there are surprises along the way :)
To the future me, please always remember the 3 things above and welcome 2014 with an open heart <3
