LEGO Clock: How I built it with RM5

Why LEGO clock? I love LEGO. I love clocks & watches. My current room does not have a clock yet, so I decided to build a LEGO clock.

1. Clock movement kit
First, I need a clock movement kit. I was searching through web pages and found that it is a hassle to buy online and most of them can be pricey with delivery added on. The cheapest I found online was on eBay UK (which costs around 1.50GBP if it was delivered within the UK). So I challenged myself to think of a cheaper option. Why not Daiso? it only costs me RM5 and within my reach :) So, I bought this in Daiso.

After getting this clock for RM5, I dismantled it to get what I want! THE CLOCK MOVEMENT MECHANISM!!! I felt good dismantling it!

2. The Clock Base
This part would be pretty easy for LEGO lovers. I just dig out my LEGO box and put whatever parts I have! So it basically costs me nothing at all! I build a base to hold the clock movement and also a hook at the back so that I can hang it on the wall.
